Below are two forms that must be submitted to the Office of Research and Community Engagement (BHC 102A) during the final thesis semester.

Honors in the Major Thesis Attachment

This form verifies that students' theses have been submitted to an online plagiarism detection software (Turnitin or iThenticate) and do not contain plagiarism. Please note that it is the University of Central Florida’s policy that all students who are writing a thesis, regardless of major, must submit a copy of their thesis to Turnitin or iThenticate for review. No exceptions will be made with this requirement or this form. This form also provides options for the dissemination of students' theses. Students should speak with their Thesis Chairs about what publication option is best.

Honors in the Major Thesis Approval Form

Following the successful completion of the thesis defense, this form must be signed by the student's thesis committee, Department Chair or Honors in the Major Coordinator, and Dean of the Burnett Honors College. Students must submit a copy of this form with original signatures to the Office of Research and Community Engagement in The Burnett Honors College room 102A. Please note that all committee members who sign this form must match the committee that our office has on file.

Questions about these forms should be directed to the Office of Research and Community Engagement at Orce@ucf.edu.
